I See London, I See France!
Hello! Grandma and I finished our Paris trip with a little shopping in the morning before we took the train to London. We arrived to our hotel, and then we decided to find some fish and chips. We found the wrong shop. Then we headed to see the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge. We ran into some friends we made while standing in line at the Lourve! We walked around the city and saw St. Paul's Cathedral, where Princess Di and Charles were married. We saw a lot more, but we didn't really know exactly what anything was. The next day we headed to Salisbury, where we took a coach to Stonehenge! It was really awesome and well worth the time we spent!! From the coach we saw Old Sarum, and when we got back to Salisbury we walked through the flea market, where they were marketing their fruit very vocally! There were also lots of arts and crafts and clothing for sale. Then we saw the Salisbury Cathedral, which has the fourth tallest steeple in Europe, which is slightly tilted. We came back and saw Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Picadilly Circle, #10 Downing Street, where they train the horses, Buckingham Palace, Green Park, and Hyde Park corner. We finished the night by riding the London Eye (thanks, Mom!). Yesterday morning we saw the changing of the guards with about the rest of London. Then we toured the Tower of London, and then met up with a couple of my friends from Goethe who are here in London at the original Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. Today I started my journey home at 4am by flying to Köln and back to London at 4pm, and tomorrow we head for home!! Can't wait to see all of you!
