genießen -- to enjoy

The same day that my mom left, Hilary and Maureen also left to go hiking in Innsbruck, so Maria and I had a romantic weekend together enjoying Berlin. We went out to our favorite club (free on Thursdays!), visited Schlachtensee (the lake that's a 5 minute walk from us), went to the library (I know, it's a shocker that I'm actually doing work), visited Caras (surprise surprise), and, of course, watched How I Met Your Mother. I'm definitely lucky to have such good friends here!
