What I Read in September

I can't believe it's already October! Also, it's still 80 degrees here in Chicago, which is probably why it's so hard to believe. It does not feel like fall!

We've stayed busy over here, traveling and crafting and book-clubbing, but still managed to find some time to read some good books this month! I think I'd recommend every book I read this month - not sure if that has happened before!

I'll Show Myself Out: Essays on Midlife and Motherhood - Klein, Jessi

I'll Show Myself Out by Jessi Klein: This one was recommended to me last year, and it kept coming up on my Libby and I kept pushing it back. I loved it! And probably much more so now having been a mom for a little longer. Would recommend! (And will likely pair a craft with this one for Poppy's Paints!)

Many Lives, Many Masters: The True Story of a Prominent Psychiatrist, His Young Patient, and the Past-Life Therapy That Changed Both Their Lives - Weiss, Brian L

Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian L. Weiss, M.D.: A nonfiction recommended to me by a friend. Definitely outside of my typical genre, but super interesting! Would recommend.

Junie B. Jones #1: Junie B. Jones and the Stupid Smelly Bus - Park, Barbara

Junie B. Jones and the Stupid Smelly Bus by Barbara Park: I paired this book with one of my crafts for Poppy's Paints (you can find it here!) and so I had to re-read. Was so funny and cute - I love Junie B.! Of course, recommend!

Tom Lake: A Reese's Book Club Pick - Patchett, Ann

Tom Lake by Ann Patchett: I am a huge Ann Patchett fan, and this one delivered! The writing was so good. Would recommend!

My TBR pile is growing, with a few almost-finished, so looking forward to reading more in October!
