EuroTrash: The Fashion Mullet

On Thursday we don't have class, so tomorrow we're going to the disko! I'm so excited! This is another thing i've been waiting to do since last time i came to germany! Yesterday we went shopping in Bad Godesberg, and today we went shopping in Bonn. Madeline and I got an awesomely inexpensive subway/train pass so that we can use the subway system to go from here to Bonn or Köln as much as we want! so we used that today on our trip to Bonn.

Also, we've been trying out the different Döner places. We're goign to try all four, and then decide which one is the best. We only have one more left.

Yesterday afternoon we watched this really strange german independent film. It was quite possibly one of the strangest movies I've ever seen. These two fairly unattractive teenagers fall in love, and then they steal the boy's grandpa's ashes and put it in a trash bag and then drive off a bridge together with "grandpa" in the back seat. The movie revolved mostly around dialogue, so there was a lot we didn't quite catch.

Furthermore, we've noticed a trend in the "fashion mullet". It's like your average trucker mullet, except worn so as to make a fashion statement. Sometimes the hair is dyed trendy colors such as midnight violet or ocean deep blue. Although fairly popular in Europe, it doesn't quite earn our stamp of approval. Although, Mr. D., you can attempt to rock the fashion mullet with your manpris.
